The Gala is scheduled for Sunday, January 20, 2013.

The day will begin with a briefing which will highlight election voting trends, the presidential appointment process, and the legislative issues before the U.S. Congress.   Begin the inaugural gala evening with the VIP Congressional reception and then sample wonderful cuisine from various Asian countries, taste the delicious desserts, work off the calories on the dance floor.  Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, newly elected members of Congress and AAPI appointees from the administration have been invited to participate in the program

We are fortunate to host this event once again at the exquisite 5-star Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C. A limited number of rooms will be available for out-of-town guests. The Mandarin Oriental’s beautiful setting overlooking the Potomac River, its proximity to the major Washington D.C. attractions and elegant catering make it a unique venue in the inaugural week celebrations.
